ABSolute Pilates is a classical Pilates studio that offers
one-on-one private sessions, duets, trios, and mat classes.
Are you completely new to Pilates? Welcome, you have just taken your first step on an amazing journey. ABSolute Pilates is here to help you get the most out of your Pilates experience — your goals and specific needs. It does not matter what skill level you possess when you walk through the door. We will focus on your body’s needs as the exercises strengthen, stretch, and lengthen your body. We are eager to adapt my extensive knowledge of movement and the pilates method, to help you achieve profound results.

In your first lessons, you will learn the movement fundamentals of pilates, and you will progress at your own pace. If needed exercises can be modify to accommodate any pre-existing injury, recovery from surgery, or movement limitation you may have.
Dress comfortably so that your movement is not restricted, but try not to wear clothing that is too loose fitting. It is important that the instructor be able to observe your body as you move. You will not need your shoes upon arrival, pilates exercises are done barefoot, or you can wear special toe socks, if you prefer.
FIRST VISIT TO ABSolute Pilates
Arrive ten minutes early at least for your first appointment at ABSolute Pilates to allow time to complete your intake sheet. It depends on the results you want to achieve and how quickly you would like to achieve them. The more often you work out, the quicker you see and feel improvement. Joe recommended clients do pilates 4 times a week. We are aware that for most people this can be challenging, so we will work with you to identify the ideal number of classes per week that will help you achieve your health goals. Most of our clients do Pilates 2-3 per week. Once a week is beneficial, but results will be slower, unless you are also practicing at home.
I HAVE A PRE-EXISTING INJURY. Is Pilates a good idea?
Pilates is excellent and safe for someone in physical therapy. It is a system of body conditioning that is both gentle and athletic, known for its “feel good” and body transforming results. All classes are customized to meet our clients’ needs, we take extra care to ensure that our student’s individual health goals and concerns are addressed.
ABSolute Pilates and Wellness Center has a 24-hour cancellation policy for sessions. You will be charged $10 to reschedule a session not canceled with 24 hours notice, or you will charged in full for the missed session.

The studio is located in the owners home. 143 Walden Way, Mechanicsburg PA 17050 We are located just a short drive from Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, and Harrisburg off of 81 or 581. This address is not available in most gps. Use 135 Woods Drive, Mechanicsburg PA 17050 and pass that home, when the road makes a hard right Walden Way will be the next left.
